Pallavi Joshi, Actress of 'The Kashmir Files', to Appear in ‘Tanvi the Great’

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is once again trying his hand at direction with his upcoming film 'Tanvi the Great'. The lead role of ‘Tanvi’ will be played by Shubhangi Datta. Along with her, the film features prominent names such as Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Iain Glen, Arvind Swamy, and Karan Tacker.

Another significant addition to the film's cast is actress Pallavi Joshi, who rose to fame with 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Vaccine War'. She will be seen in the role of Vidya Raina in the film. According to Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi is the most natural actress. The impact she creates on screen is very special. Her character in 'Tanvi the Great' is a beautiful representation of love, motherhood, sacrifice, and strength.

Speaking of her recent projects, she was recently seen in the Netflix series ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ (released on March 20, 2025), which is a standalone sequel to the earlier series ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’.

As for ‘Tanvi the Great’, it is being produced by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). The film’s music has been composed by Oscar-winner M. M. Keeravani. The release date of the film has not yet been announced.
